Edel Cleary
Feng Shui Design is an interior design and feng shui practice, run by Edel Cleary, Interior Designer and Feng Shui Practitioner (FSNI, FSSA, IFSG). Edel has more than 20 years experience working with both commercial and domestic clients, providing advice on all aspects of interior design including colour, layout, lighting etc.
Edel is the author of A place to call home; feng shui design, a guidebook for design, connection and belonging.
Edel is an interior designer, course facilitator, writer and feng shui practitioner based in Dublin, Ireland. Working in this field for more than 20 years, Edel has a passion for creating healthy and balanced living and working spaces for her clients.
Having first worked as an alternative health therapist, aromatherapist and beauty therapist for many years, Edel developed an acute awareness of the effects of our environment on our general health and wellbeing.
She went on to study interior design at the Dublin Institute of Design and feng shui at the Feng Shui Network International in London to deepen her knowledge on holistic interior design and bridge the connection between our personal well being and the energy of our surroundings. In the course of the past 20 years, she has delved deeply into the world of feng shui, colour, healthy homes and interior design and the impact of our built environment on every area of our lives.
Our surroundings are like our outer skin; we are in constant conversation with them. Depending on how conscious or unconscious we are about that relationship, our environments may be supporting our energy or may in fact be a source of stress. Edel’s work involves helping people to connect more deeply with their surroundings, aiding them in creating supportive, uplifting and healthier environments in which to work, rest and enjoy life.
